Fructaria (from The Garden of the Sun), is a woman owned romanian brand of artizanal dehidrated fruits in intriguing and delightful mixes.
The client desired a brand identity that would feel fresh and modern but with folkloric and artisanal romanian roots.
Taking inspiration from traditional motifs and symbols, I have created a circular logo in a pomegranate shape with a folk-style flower inside, playing with the negative/positive space, while for the packaging I have created a woman sillhouette inspired by the goddess of the harvest, Demeter, with the hair full of bounty, of plant and fruit,which gently holds on her head the main fruit of the package. For the color scheme I have chosen delicious, pastel tones of green, orange, yellow, lavander and peach.
